The Company Ribnjak 1961 Ltd is farming: šaran (Cyprinus carpio), smuđ (Stizostedion lucioperca), amur ( Ctenepharyngodon idella), tolstolobika (Hypophthalmichthus molitrix), som (sulirus glanis), štuka (Esox lucius) and patuljastih somić (Amiurus nebulosus).
The companies’ biggest part of business is in breeding carp and other freshwater species and categories.
Reared fish is intended for the domestic and international markets.
Fish is caught and transported to the customer alive.
Growth and quality of smuđ (Stizostedion lucioperca) are widely known and we are exporting to all neighboring countries and EU member states.

Ribnjak 1961 Ltd today it employs 19 people with a wealth of experience in fish farming, which for many years have been successful in producing 400 ha production areas in Sišćanima.
